Minke Whale / Gulf of Maine Framed 10×8 Print

This 10x8in maple wood museum quality frame, featuring a 7×5 in matte print,

is being sold ($139 + $5 shipping) to help benefit the outreach work of the Blue Ocean Society.  You can purchase the framed print here

10% of the profits of the sales will go towards their conservation and educational outreach efforts. I photographed this minke whale on Sept 5, 2018 off of the coast of Kittery, Maine. This minke whale and a couple of others were feeding on bait balls near the opening of the Piscataqua River mouth. This came a week after a fishing boat shamelessly entangled a humpback whale off of the Isle of Shoals while it was attempting to harvest the whales food. The Blue Ocean Society is one of the organizations giving a voice to marine life and I believe in supporting the future wellbeing of our oceans.

nothin’ says love like carting an 11 month old through the Mount Baker Wilderness!

major hiking props to my sister, who hauled him around in her Osprey pack.

good memories of this little guy playing with rocks at the top.

You may not know, I’m a jewelry designer on the side (here). Shot a few pieces, had fun in the waves the other day with these babes.
